Alternative Payment Methods
Stripe and elina Pay customers can now collect payment by alternative payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, Revolut, Bank Transfer and other localised options.
The Big Three
Payment methods vary by market, but did you know for example, that in the United Kingdom, VISA and Mastercard has a usage rate of 97%, Paypal is close behind with 80% and Apply Pay has a 20% usage rate.
Guaranteeing a Booking
You can now get a guest either remotely, or in person to securely add their payment method (including credit card) using a unique link created on the booking, quickly from their mobile phone.
The payments world is continually evolving. What we know for sure, is that guests do not like to give payment information over the phone, or hand over sensitive information in person. We also know that these transactions cost more, as they are classed as person not present, known as moto. So we made sure you or a guest can securely add a payment method, or capture a payment method to secure a booking with no fuss. Pre-arrival should be frictionless, leading to happier guests, better reviews and making things easy for frontdesk or res teams.
Guest Instant Access
All of the following: Making a payment, saving a payment method, and the pre-arrival process, are all now 'Instant Access'. Guests can open the link quickly with no login required and no other barriers in their way. It's now easy! This means your team can with confidence send the guest the link to complete one or more of these tasks before or during arrival, remotely or in person.

Pre-Arrival Management
We have reviewed online check-in, making improvements based on feedback. Guest Instant Access, now means people can access the link without needing to login, or complete a magic link. It is now seemless! Guests can do it all on their mobile from anywhere, easily.
All steps in pre-arrival management are optional, and include: digital signature on terms and conditions, selfie, passport or document details, passport or document picture, guest questions, and online check-in. Yes, thats' right! Checking-in is now an optional step! Plus, guests with emails addresses from AirBnB, Booking.com or Expedia can be asked to update their email address.
